Setting up a Session with NINA and capturing M44 and M67 star clusters

I’m using NINA as my software for running an imaging session. I found it quite powerful, and I particularly like the plate solving polar alignment. Due to limited visibility of Polaris and being close to the Equator, this polar alignment process has worked great for me.

I have it talking with PHD2 for auto guiding, a skill I haven’t tried yet. For plate solving I have ASTAP database installed on my dedicated astrophotography laptop. I use this windows laptop for running the session, but all my final editing is done on Pixinisght on my MAC.

Tonight I captured two clusters of stars, M44 – Beehive Cluster and M67 the Golden Eye cluster.
